The best IPAs have a certain balance between their hops and their flavor, and there is a continuity to that balance. That continuity is the Power of 10. The best balanced IPAs have an IBU score that is 10 times their ABV.
Hence our Head South 69 IPA being 6.9% alcohol and 69 IBUs. And our 66 Hazy IPA being 6.6% alcohol and 66 IBUs.
