- Owner Steve Morgan grew up in the South, living in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia before moving to Florida.
- He plays Masters Water Polo and competes in open water swims when he is not brewing or selling his beer.
- Head South is 100% Florida owned and 100% Florida brewed.
